Grown on schist soils, this wine undergoes whole bunch fermentation with a slow, gentle maceration before 18 months ageing in foudre. Intensely perfumed with floral aromas and ripe red berry fruit, it combines concentration with finesse. The large oak frames rather than marks the wine, allowing the schist derived minerality to shine. With fine tannins, lifted acidity and a flinty core, it is an elegant and expressive wine.
