Pinot Blanc - Classic Jenins 2024

Based in Jenins, in the heart of the Bündner Herrschaft, Annatina Pelizzatti has been running her family estate since 1997. Covering approximately four hectares, the vineyards are cultivated according to ecological principles with a strong emphasis on manual work and authentic terroir expression. Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir are the estate’s main grape varieties, alongside Chardonnay, Completer and Merlot.

Pinot Blanc – Classic Jenins is made from 100% Pinot Blanc grown around Jenins. Ageing for six months in stainless steel tanks preserves the grape’s freshness, aromatic purity and natural elegance. The result is a precise and refreshing white wine displaying the distinctive freshness of Graubünden’s Alpine climate.

Appearance: Bright pale yellow with delicate green reflections.

Nose: Fresh and elegant aromas of green apple, pear, citrus fruits and white flowers, complemented by a subtle mineral note.

Palate: Crisp and precise with lively acidity and a delicate, harmonious texture. White fruits and citrus notes lead to a fresh, slightly saline and refreshing finish.

Food Pairing: Ideal as an aperitif or with fish, seafood, salads, asparagus, fresh cheeses and light Asian cuisine.
