Chardonnay - Halde 2024

Based in Jenins, in the heart of the Bündner Herrschaft, Annatina Pelizzatti has been closely connected to the wine culture of Graubünden since childhood. Since producing her first wine in 1997, she has developed a small, artisan estate where manual work and an authentic expression of terroir are central. Her wines are known for their distinctive character, precision and remarkable clarity.

Chardonnay Halde Fläsch AOC Graubünden comes from Chardonnay grown on the well-exposed slopes of Fläsch. Fermentation in 500-litre French oak barrels followed by approximately 10 months of ageing gives the wine depth and complexity while preserving its distinctive mineral freshness and Alpine elegance.

Appearance: Bright, luminous pale yellow colour.

Nose: Expressive aromas of citrus, ripe apple, pineapple and white fruits, complemented by delicate floral, lightly smoky and subtle oak notes.

Palate: Fresh and precise with excellent balance and vibrant acidity. White and exotic fruits combine with pronounced minerality and finely integrated oak, leading to an elegant, persistent and slightly saline finish.

Food Pairing: Excellent with grilled fish, seafood, poultry, asparagus, delicate Asian cuisine and hard cheeses.
