Located in the heart of Tuscany’s Maremma region, Tenuta Montauto is a family-owned estate founded by Riccardo Lepri. Silio is a refined expression of Ciliegiolo, one of Tuscany’s historic native grape varieties. Sourced from selected vineyards in the Maremma, this wine highlights the freshness, charm and natural elegance of the grape. Silio offers an authentic and contemporary interpretation of this traditional variety.

Appearance: Bright ruby-red colour with violet reflections.

Nose: Intense aromas of fresh cherry, Morello cherry, raspberry and crunchy red berries, complemented by delicate floral notes of violet and subtle spice nuances.

Palate: Fresh and supple on entry. Elegant and fruit-driven, with silky tannins, vibrant acidity and a harmonious structure. Long finish with lingering cherry and sweet spice notes.

Food Pairing: Perfect with Italian charcuterie, tomato-based pasta dishes, gourmet pizzas, poultry, grilled white meats and aged cheeses.
