Description
Mas Laval is a family-owned estate located in Aniane, in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac in Languedoc. For over three generations, the Laval family has passionately cultivated around 35 hectares of vineyards, prioritizing environmentally respectful practices. Currently undergoing organic conversion, the estate is certified Terra Vitis, reflecting its commitment to sustainable viticulture. The vineyard, surrounded by the Arboussas massif and the foothills of the Cévennes, benefits from an exceptional terroir made up of limestone, rolled pebbles, and silty-sandy clay soils. Traditional Languedoc grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Carignan are carefully grown. Vinification follows a traditional approach with long macerations and aging in large casks and Burgundy barrels, resulting in characterful wines that reflect the richness of the terroir.
