Valentina Andrei is an independent winemaker based in Saillon, Valais (Switzerland). Passionate and precise, she has been cultivating her vineyards with care since 2012, using minimal intervention and a deep respect for the living environment. Her wines reflect the personality of the Valais terroir with finesse and clarity.

The Valentina Andrei Merlot is crafted from grapes grown on the Champ Dury plot in Martigny, a site that delivers both richness and freshness. This Merlot is a pure, structured and vibrant red wine that showcases both ripe fruit and elegant minerality.

Appearance: deep ruby-red with violet hints.

Nose: ripe red and black fruits (blackberry, cherry), delicate spicy and herbal notes.

Palate: velvety texture with soft tannins and generous mouthfeel. Excellent balance between ripe fruit, structure, and freshness. Long, elegant finish.

Food Pairing: perfect with grilled or roasted red meats, lamb, stews or aged cheeses.

Serving Temperature: 16–18 °C.
