Mandus - Primitivo Di Manduria 2024

PietraPura is a project created through the collaboration between the Zingarelli family, owners of the renowned Tuscan estate Rocca delle Macìe, and several wineries in Puglia. Its mission is to showcase Southern Italy’s indigenous grape varieties through wines that combine authenticity, generosity and modern elegance.

Mandus Primitivo di Manduria DOC is produced from 100% Primitivo grapes grown in the prestigious Manduria area of Puglia. Following temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine is aged for 4 months in French oak barrels, adding complexity, softness and depth.

Appearance: Deep ruby-red colour with intense purple reflections.

Nose: Rich aromas of ripe cherry, plum, blackberry and cassis complemented by notes of cocoa, vanilla, sweet spices and toasted oak.

Palate: Full-bodied, velvety and beautifully structured. Soft tannins support flavours of ripe dark fruit, light caramel, spice and dark chocolate. Long, harmonious and generous finish.

Food Pairing: Excellent with grilled meats, game dishes, rich sauces, slow-cooked cuisine, baked aubergines, mature cheeses and Mediterranean dishes.
