Description
Maison Joseph Drouhin, founded in Beaune in 1880, is one of Burgundy’s great family-owned wine houses. For four generations, the Drouhin family has crafted wines with the ambition of expressing the remarkable diversity of Burgundy’s terroirs with precision, elegance and authenticity.
With a portfolio spanning more than 90 appellations, Joseph Drouhin offers a genuine journey through the richness and diversity of Burgundy, from regional appellations to the most prestigious Premier and Grand Crus.
The Maison has been awarded the Grappe d’Or by Gault&Millau, a distinction that recognises the quality of its work and its position among the leading names in Burgundy.
The Chablis Réserve de Vaudon is produced exclusively from vineyards owned by the Drouhin family, mainly located in the Vauvillien Valley, between the prestigious slopes of Montée de Tonnerre and Mont de Milieu. The Kimmeridgian limestone soils, rich in tiny marine fossils, give the wine its distinctive minerality, freshness and characteristic saline expression.
