The Maison has been awarded the Grappe d’Or by Gault&Millau, a distinction that recognises the quality of its work and its position among the leading names in Burgundy.
The Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Clos Prieur comes from a historic terroir located south of the village of Gevrey-Chambertin, close to the famous Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru. Clos Prieur takes its name from the Priors of Cluny, who once owned the vineyard and occupied the old château of Gevrey. Its relatively deep and compact marly soils produce a generous and refined Pinot Noir, combining aromatic intensity, silky texture and remarkable length.
