Description

Maison Joseph Drouhin, founded in Beaune in 1880, is one of Burgundy's great family-owned wine houses. For four generations, the Drouhin family has crafted wines with the ambition of expressing Burgundy's remarkable terroirs with precision, elegance and authenticity. With a portfolio of more than 90 appellations, Joseph Drouhin offers a remarkable journey through Burgundy, from regional appellations to the most prestigious Premier and Grand Crus.

The Maison has been awarded the Grappe d'Or by Gault&Millau, recognising its outstanding quality and its place among Burgundy's leading producers.

The Chablis Grand Cru Bougros comes from one of Chablis' seven Grand Cru vineyards, located on the right bank of the Serein River at the north-western end of the Grand Cru hillside. Benefiting from a superb south-east exposure and the steepest slope of all the Grand Crus, Bougros consistently produces wines of remarkable concentration and elegance. The famous Kimmeridgian limestone, packed with marine fossils over 130 million years old, gives the wine its unmistakable minerality, purity and finesse.
