Donnafugata was established in Sicily by a family that, thanks to its passion, has been able to innovate the style and perception of Sicilian wine throughout the world.

Giacomo Rallo, the fourth generation of a family with over 170 years of experience in quality wine, founded Donnafugata in 1983 together with his wife Gabriella, a pioneer of viticulture in Sicily. Today, their children José and Antonio lead the company and a team of people focused on excellence.

Dedicated to the irresistible and ambitious Angelica Sedàra with green eyes, the fashinatig Claudia Cardinale, protagonist of the film "Il Gattopardo" (The Leopard) directed by Luchino Visconti. The label, also in the new version, refers to the Contessa Entellina winer

Appearance: Intense and bright ruby red color with violet highlights.

Nose: Generous and expressive bouquet dominated by ripe red fruit aromas (cherry, raspberry), complemented by notes of plum, Mediterranean herbs and a delicate spicy touch.

Palate: Smooth and harmonious attack, fresh and well-balanced mouthfeel. The tannins are fine and well integrated, supporting a crunchy, fruit-driven structure.

Food pairings: Perfect with Mediterranean cuisine, pasta with tomato sauce, grilled meats, artisanal pizza or semi-hard cheeses.

Serving temperature: Serve between 16 and 18 °C to preserve the wine’s aromatic expression and freshness.
