Description
Château de la Liquière, a family-owned estate since 1912, is located in Cabrerolles, at the heart of the Faugères appellation. The vineyard spans 58 hectares across 70 parcels, cultivated organically since 2008. The Cistus 2021 cuvée comes from old vines rooted in schist soils, producing a complex, velvety, and balanced red wine.
Tasting
Appearance: Deep hue with violet reflections.
Nose: Intense aromas of black fruits, chocolate, and thyme.
Palate: Deep and powerful wine with a velvety texture, remarkable freshness, and tension.
Food Pairing: Ideal with duck, marinated red meats, or flavorful cheeses.
Serving Temperature: 15–16 °C; open one hour before tasting.
