Description
Located in Nelas, in the heart of Portugal's Dão region, Casa de Santar is a historic wine estate whose origins date back to 1790. Renowned for its vineyards and architectural heritage, the property benefits from a terroir particularly well suited to traditional Portuguese grape varieties. Today part of the Global Wines group, Casa de Santar produces wines that combine tradition, elegance and an authentic expression of the Dão region.
Casa de Santar Vinha dos Amores Encruzado 2021 is a premium white wine made exclusively from Encruzado, one of the Dão region's most prestigious white grape varieties. Sourced from the Vinha dos Amores vineyard, it benefits from granite soils and an altitude-influenced climate. Fermentation and ageing in oak barrels bring aromatic complexity while preserving the freshness and minerality characteristic of Encruzado.
