Description
Based in Jenins, in the heart of the Bündner Herrschaft, Annatina Pelizzatti has been running her approximately four-hectare family estate since 1997. Her philosophy focuses on environmentally conscious viticulture, extensive manual work and the production of distinctive wines that authentically express their terroir. Pinot Noir plays a central role at the estate, with the Sélection Barrique representing a deeper and more structured interpretation matured in small French oak barrels.
Pinot Noir Sélection Barrique Jenins AOC Graubünden is a refined and ambitious expression of Pinot Noir from Graubünden. More concentrated than the Classic cuvée, it is matured in small French oak barrels, adding depth and complexity while preserving the natural finesse of the variety.
Tasting
Appearance: Deep and brilliant ruby red with elegant garnet highlights.
Nose: Complex and refined aromas of cherry, blackcurrant and red and dark berries, complemented by black pepper, spices and subtle oak notes.
Palate: Precise and elegant with excellent structure and finesse. The tannins are beautifully integrated, while ripe fruit, spice and subtle oak lead to a long, fresh and persistent finish.
Food Pairing: Excellent with duck breast, veal fillet, roast pigeon, feathered game, wild mushrooms and mature cheeses.
