Pinot Nero is Tenuta Montauto’s interpretation of Pinot Noir. Grown on elevated vineyard sites with significant day-to-night temperature variations, this wine captures the elegance, finesse and complexity for which Pinot Noir is renowned. The style focuses on freshness, purity of fruit and terroir expression.

Appearance: Bright ruby-red colour with delicate garnet reflections.

Nose: Elegant aromas of red cherry, raspberry, redcurrant and violet, complemented by subtle spice, forest floor and delicate smoky notes.

Palate: Fresh and silky on entry. Fine, well-integrated tannins support a balanced structure with excellent aromatic complexity. The finish is long and refined, marked by red fruit and gentle spice notes.

Food Pairing: Excellent with roasted poultry, duck, veal, mushroom risotto, refined Italian cuisine and soft-aged cheeses.
