Description
Founded in 1880 in Beaune, Maison Joseph Drouhin is one of Burgundy’s most historic wine houses. Family-owned for four generations, the estate favours environmentally responsible viticulture, including organic and biodynamic practices, and gentle winemaking techniques designed to preserve the expression of each terroir. Its wines are renowned for their finesse, balance and elegance. In July 2026, Maison Joseph Drouhin was awarded One MICHELIN Grape in the MICHELIN Guide’s inaugural selection dedicated to Burgundy wine estates.
Beaujolais-Villages Joseph Drouhin is a red wine made from 100% Gamay, sourced from selected villages in northern Beaujolais. The vines grow mainly on granite soils, which contribute to the wine’s freshness and aromatic expression. This cuvée is characterised by its vibrant fruit, supple texture and elegance, offering a generous yet balanced expression of Gamay.
