Description

Le Crocine is a boutique winery located in the hills of Bolgheri, in the heart of Tuscany's Upper Maremma. Founded by Niccolò Marzichi Lenzi and his wife Joy Green, the estate enjoys an exceptional terroir between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the hills of Castagneto Carducci. Organic-minded viticulture, diverse soils and strong maritime influence allow the winery to produce wines combining Bordeaux elegance with the Mediterranean character of Tuscany.

Le Crocine 57022 is a Bolgheri DOC crafted primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, complemented depending on the vintage by other Bordeaux grape varieties. Its name refers to 57022, the postal code of Castagneto Carducci, the birthplace of the Bolgheri appellation. The vineyards, planted close to the sea on gravel, clay and sandy soils, produce a wine of remarkable elegance where ripe fruit, freshness and refined oak ageing come together in perfect harmony.
