Savagnin Elevage Long - Côtes du Jura 2018

Château d’Arlay is a historically significant winery in the Jura region of eastern France, established around a listed heritage château and surrounded by vineyards farmed with organic practices.

The Savagnin Élevage Long 2018 is a dry white wine made from 100 % Savagnin grapes, traditionally aged in non‑topped oak barrels. This extended élevage accentuates the wine’s aromatic intensity and complexity, characteristic of Jura whites.

Appearance: bright pale gold.

Nose: complex bouquet with ripe white fruit, nutty nuances, spice and mineral hints.

Palate: rich, powerful and well‑balanced with an expansive texture and long finish.

Food Pairing: excellent with **sauced poultry, hard cheeses (e.g., Comté), fish in creamy sauces, or subtly spiced dishes.

Serving Temperature: 14–17 °C.
