The Gamaret 1er Cru C12 is a parcel-selection wine showcasing one of Switzerland’s most emblematic red grape varieties. Developed by Swiss Agroscope, Gamaret expresses remarkable power, depth and elegance in this cuvée. The outstanding 2018 vintage provided optimal ripeness while preserving freshness and balance. This wine offers excellent ageing potential and reflects the estate’s expertise at its highest level.

Appearance: Deep ruby color with garnet reflections, dense and brilliant.

Nose: Intense bouquet of blackberry, blackcurrant, black cherry and plum, complemented by notes of black pepper, licorice, cocoa and delicate oak nuances.

Palate: Broad and structured attack with velvety, perfectly integrated tannins. Excellent aromatic concentration supported by balanced freshness. Long, elegant and spicy finish.

Food Pairing: Ideal with rib steak, roasted lamb, game dishes, slow-cooked meals or aged cheeses.

Serving Temperature: Serve between 16 and 18°C after light aeration.
