Description
A unique style magnified by time
Complexity. The complexity of Château Palmer's terroir is expressed in its wines. Parcel by parcel, its teams take care of it every day. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, protected and enriched by a diverse natural environment, develop notes of fruit, flowers and spices. No exuberance. Certainly not. But, with the passage of time, the wine becomes even more harmonious and longer-lasting. A velvety combination of aromatic richness and powerful tannins.
Tasting
Appearance: Deep purple hues reflecting the richness of the vintage.
Nose: Intense aromas of ripe blackcurrant, blueberry, and violet, with subtle notes of cedar and sweet spices.
Palate: Velvety attack followed by a fine, balanced tannic structure. Flavors of dark fruits blend harmoniously with woody and spicy nuances, leading to a long, elegant finish.
Food pairings: Pairs ideally with refined dishes such as roasted lamb, cherry-glazed duck, or a selection of aged cheeses.
Serving temperature: Serve between 16°C and 18°C to fully appreciate its complexity.
