Syrah - Les Effeuilleuses 2025

Located in Sion, in the heart of Switzerland's Valais region, Bétrisey & Albrecht Vins is known for producing authentic wines that reflect the character of the local terroir. Syrah “Les Effeuilleuses”  is a red wine from the Valais AOC, made from 100% Syrah. Originally from the Rhône Valley, this grape variety thrives in the sunny, relatively dry climate of the Swiss Valais.

The wine stands out for its fruity and spicy character, combining dark fruit aromas with the distinctive peppery notes of Syrah. Stainless-steel vinification helps preserve the freshness of the fruit and the natural expression of the grape variety.

Appearance: Deep ruby-red colour with violet highlights.

Nose: Expressive aromas of blackberry and blackcurrant, complemented by black pepper and delicate spice notes.

Palate: Generous and fruit-driven, with good structure, supple tannins and pleasant freshness. The finish is harmonious, persistent and subtly spicy.

Food Pairing: Grilled red meats, roasted lamb, game, barbecue dishes, roasted vegetables or mature cheeses.
