Almaviva 2019

Made from a blend of classic Bordeaux varieties, in which Cabernet Sauvignon predominates, Almaviva is the result of a felicitous encounter between two cultures.

Chile offers its soil, its climate and its vineyards, while France contributes its winemaking savoir-faire and traditions.

The result is an exceptionally elegant and complex wine. Its launch was a major milestone in the development of Chilean wines, both in Chile itself and in the international market.

Appearance: Deep ruby color with garnet and purple reflections, dense, brilliant and remarkably intense.

Nose: Complex and refined bouquet revealing aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry and plum, accompanied by notes of graphite, cedar, blond tobacco, cocoa and delicate balsamic nuances.

Palate: Broad and majestic attack supported by silky tannins of outstanding precision. The concentration of fruit is perfectly balanced by elegant freshness and harmonious structure. Exceptionally long, deep and persistent finish marked by mineral and spicy nuances.

Food Pairing: Ideal with beef tenderloin, rack of lamb, noble game dishes, gourmet cuisine or characterful aged cheeses.

Serving Temperature: Serve between 16 and 18°C after one to two hours of decanting to fully reveal its complexity.
