Die Geschichten von José Lourenço, liebevoll „Avô Escrivão“ genannt, weitergeben.

Horácio Augusto Lourenço planted the first vines in the 1980s and laid the foundations for this dream of his. His son, Jorge Miguel Graça Lourenço, developed the viticulture, created the wines and structured the company as we know it today.

The winemaking process is minimalist, using granite presses with mechanical treading. After fermentation, which lasted about a week, the wine was transferred to stainless steel tanks, where it settled naturally. Following malolactic fermentation, it was transferred to oak barrels, where it aged for about twelve months.

Appearance: Deep garnet color with mahogany reflections, dense and bright.

Nose: Complex bouquet of ripe dark fruits, stewed plum, cocoa, sweet spices, tobacco and delicate oak notes.

Palate: Broad and velvety structure with silky tannins and excellent aromatic concentration. Harmonious balance between richness, freshness and elegance, leading to a long and persistent finish.

Food Pairing: Ideal with braised meats, game dishes, roasted lamb, truffle dishes or aged cheeses.

Serving Temperature: Serve between 16 and 18°C.
