Gessaia is the flagship wine of Tenuta Montauto. Produced from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, it fully expresses the richness and complexity of this grape variety on the gypsum-rich and limestone soils of the Tuscan Maremma. Widely regarded as one of Italy’s finest Sauvignon Blanc wines, Gessaia combines aromatic intensity, freshness and mineral elegance.

Appearance: Bright straw-yellow colour with golden highlights.

Nose: Intense and refined aromas of citrus fruits, passion fruit, white peach, white flowers, fresh sage and delicate mineral notes.

Palate: Fresh and precise on entry. The wine is rich yet elegant, supported by vibrant acidity and remarkable mineral tension. Fruity and floral flavours linger through a long, persistent and refined finish.
