Rumo 2022

Rumo Vinhos is a Portuguese wine project focused on highlighting the authenticity and character of traditional grape varieties from the Douro Valley, one of Portugal’s most famous wine regions. Located in northern Portugal, the region is known for its dramatic landscapes and terraced vineyards planted on schist soils along the Douro River.

The Rumo is made from carefully selected indigenous grape varieties. It reflects the generous and expressive style of Douro red wines, combining aromatic intensity, freshness and structure. The wine reveals aromas of ripe red and dark fruits with hints of spice and a subtle mineral touch.

Appearance: Deep ruby red colour with violet reflections.

Nose: Expressive aromas of black cherry, blackberry and plum with hints of spice and floral nuances.

Palate: Smooth and balanced entry. Fruity and elegant palate with fine tannins and refreshing acidity. Persistent finish with dark fruit and spice notes.

Food Pairing: Ideal with grilled meats, slow-cooked dishes, roasted lamb or aged cheeses.

Serving Temperature: Serve between 16–18 °C.
