Description
Located in the heart of Portugal's Douro Valley, Quinta de São Luiz is a historic wine estate belonging to Kopke, the oldest Port wine house, founded in 1638. Its vineyards stretch across the steep slopes of the Douro, where schist soils and variations in altitude contribute to the production of expressive and elegant wines. The São Luiz range celebrates this exceptional terroir, combining traditional expertise with modern winemaking techniques.
Quinta de São Luiz Reserva Branco is a distinctive white wine made from a blend of Viosinho, Arinto and Folgazão, three traditional Douro grape varieties. Produced from grapes grown on schist soils, it stands out for its aromatic richness and its balance between freshness and roundness. Partial oak ageing adds complexity and delicate smoky nuances without overpowering the fruit.
