Description
The Mas Laval Estate is a family-owned vineyard located in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac appellation in the Languedoc region. For three generations, the Laval family has been cultivating vines with passion and respect for the land. The estate spans approximately 35 hectares, growing traditional grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Cabernet Franc, and Sauvignon for reds, as well as Chardonnay, Viognier, Roussanne, and Vermentino for whites. The vineyard practices environmentally friendly farming methods, with a "TERRA VITIS" certification since 2017 and ongoing conversion to organic farming. Harvesting is done by hand, ensuring meticulous grape selection. The winemaking process is traditional, with manual punching and maceration adapted to each vintage. The wines are aged in French Burgundy barrels with light toasting and in large wooden vats, depending on the wine. The wines are neither filtered nor fined to preserve their authenticity and expression of the terroir.
