Description
The Mas Laval Estate is a family-run vineyard located at the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac appellation in the Languedoc-Roussillon wine region. For three generations, the Laval family has cultivated vines with passion and respect for the land. The estate spans approximately 35 hectares, growing traditional grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Cabernet Franc, and Sauvignon for reds, as well as Chardonnay, Viognier, Roussanne, and Vermentino for whites. The vineyard practices sustainable farming methods, with certification in "TERRA VITIS" since 2017 and ongoing conversion to organic farming. Harvesting is done manually, allowing for meticulous grape selection. The vinification process is traditional, with manual punching and maceration tailored to each vintage. Wine aging takes place in French oak barrels with low toasting and in large wooden vats, depending on the wine. The estate's wines are neither filtered nor fined to preserve their authenticity and expression of the terroir.
