El Pacto 2021

Viñedos El Pacto pays tribute to its ancestors by perpetuating the precious winegrowing heritage of Alto Najerilla and Sonsierra, two regions of La Rioja that are intimately linked to its roots. Historically dedicated to the cultivation of vines, these regions have inspired his commitment to authentic, environmentally-friendly viticulture. The name ‘El Pacto’ evokes a return to traditional viticulture, based on respect for nature and the reduction of human intervention to the bare essentials, favouring quality over quantity.

Craftsmanship is at the heart of its approach, from hand-harvesting to spontaneous fermentation and meticulous ageing. Each stage highlights the fruit of hard work in unique vineyards, allowing the distinctive characteristics of its terroir to be fully expressed through its wines.

Appearance: Deep ruby red colour with garnet reflections, bright and intense.

Nose: Expressive and complex aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, complemented by notes of spice, vanilla and a subtle hint of liquorice.

Palate: Smooth and balanced attack. The palate is full and elegant with silky tannins and flavours of red and dark fruits supported by delicate oak notes. Long and harmonious finish.

Food Pairing: Ideal with grilled meats, roasted lamb, slow-cooked dishes or aged cheeses.

Serving Temperature: Serve between 16–18 °C.
