Faustino I - Gran Reserva Blanco 2020

Faustino I Blanco Gran Reserva is produced by the historic winery Bodegas Faustino, located in Rioja Alavesa (Spain), a family-owned estate with long heritage in Rioja winemaking. 

The Faustino I Gran Reserva Blanco perfectly reflects this philosophy. Produced mainly from Viura, the wine undergoes oak barrel ageing, followed by bottle maturation, giving it remarkable complexity and elegance. This wine has also gained international recognition by being selected in the “World’s Best Sommelier Selection 2025”, a prestigious award chosen by leading sommeliers from around the world. It displays a refined style with aromas of ripe fruit, spices and delicate toasted notes.

Appearance: pale lemon‑gold, bright and clear. 

Nose: aromas of stone fruit (peach, apricot), floral and tropical hints (mango, pineapple), intertwined with elegant oak‑derived notes (toast, wood). 

Palate: fresh entry, vibrant acidity, silky texture, generous layers of yellow and tropical fruits, rounded by soft vanilla and wood nuances. Elegant and balanced. 

Finish & Balance: long, refined finish — fruit and oak in harmony, well-integrated acidity and structure. 

Food Pairing: goes particularly well with fish, seafood, white meats, poultry in light sauces, rice dishes, paella — generally fresh or delicately flavored dishes.
