Description
Tokaji Aszú 5 Puttonyos is one of the most iconic expressions of the historic Tokaj region in northeastern Hungary, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Widely regarded as one of the world’s greatest sweet wines, Tokaji Aszú is produced from individually selected botrytized grapes affected by noble rot (Botrytis cinerea).
The designation 5 Puttonyos indicates a high level of concentration and sweetness while maintaining remarkable freshness. The 2013 vintage is particularly admired for its balance, aromatic purity and outstanding ageing potential. This wine combines richness, elegance and complexity in a truly unique style.
