La Fuga - Chardonnay 2022

Donnafugata is a renowned Sicilian winery committed to producing high-quality wines that reflect the richness and diversity of the island's terroirs. Chardonnay ‘La Fuga’ 2023 comes from the Contessa Entellina DOC appellation, made from grapes harvested at night from the first dekad of August to preserve their freshness and aromatic potential.

To the eye: A brilliant straw yellow colour.

On the nose: A fragrant bouquet with notes of tropical fruit and citrus peel (lemon), accompanied by delicate hints of white flowers.

On the palate: Sappy and fresh, with pleasant acidity and intense minerality.

Food and wine pairing: Perfect with vegetable and seafood risottos, excellent also with herb chicken, quiches and fish dishes.

Serving temperature: 8-10°C.
