Description
The House of Billecart-Salmon, founded in 1818 in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, is one of the last great Champagne houses that remains both family-owned and independent. Guided by seven generations, it has earned a worldwide reputation for its style, which combines precision, finesse and elegance, all while preserving a demanding artisanal know-how.
The Le Réserve cuvée perfectly embodies this philosophy: it is a non-vintage Brut of great purity, crafted from a harmonious blend of the three traditional Champagne grape varieties. It reflects the house’s identity, with its fine bubbles, remarkable balance and consistent expression, vintage after vintage.

Tasting
Appearance: Pale gold colour with very fine, continuous bubbles and a generous, persistent mousse. It offers brilliant luminosity and a lively impression of youth.
Nose: The nose unfolds with marked intensity and great precision, blending aromas of white-fleshed fruits (apple, pear), fresh citrus, delicate floral notes and hints of biscuit, reflecting finesse and purity.
Palate: The attack is delicate and precise, with a harmonious and airy texture. Flavours of crisp fruit are joined by subtle toasted notes, all supported by fine vinosity and a beautiful aromatic concentration. The finish is long, fresh and mineral.
Food pairing: Perfect as an aperitif, this Champagne also pairs wonderfully with a wide range of dishes: seafood, fine fish, refined cuisine or delicate desserts.
Serving temperature: Serve very well chilled, ideally between 8 °C and 10 °C, to reveal the full freshness and aromatic finesse.
