Parcela Roseiral - Alvarinho 2024

Aveleda Parcela do Roseiral comes from a very special Alvarinho vineyard located in the heart of the estate, planted on clay-granite soils with a topsoil layer composed of humus—making it extremely fertile—where the vines are sheltered by a high wall that protects the site from the wind and creates a warmer microclimate. The grapes are harvested by hand with careful selection of the clusters. They are then cooled before being transported to the winery, where they undergo gentle, low-pressure pressing. The wine undergoes a brief 9-month aging in oak barrels (barely 10%), which imparts subtle smoky aromas and a velvety texture that beautifully highlights the citrus notes and the bitterness of the skin. It is a well-structured white wine of great finesse.
