The history of Château de Ferrand since the 17th century is part of the great tradition of the wine properties of Bordeaux, those that have made its reputation.

The singularity of Ferrand is firstly the fact that in 300 years, the castle has known only two families, making it one of the oldest and most consistent properties of Saint-Emilion: Elie de Bétoulaud after him his descendant the Marquis de Mons and his heirs.Then the family of Baron Bich, founder of the company Bic. 

Today the property is presided over by Pauline Bich Chandon-Moët, seconded by her husband Philippe Chandon-Moët.
